Dr. Sood does excellent work! Great assistant and team. Appointment was on time, no wait. From the friendly check-in to the finished product, going to the dentist hasn’t been this pleasant.

I’ve never been to a worst dentist. They claimed i had all these issues with my teeth that no other dentist can find. They also are randomly charging me $47 after I already paid the bill they gave me when i got my teeth done in April. When asked about this we were met with excuses as to why we were never told about it or billed. And all of this just happened to start when other dentist wanted my Xrays from them.

Very nice staff, they all seem very competent and seem to enjoy working there. As a patient I felt well taken care of.

Extractions

If you’re in need of a dental extraction, we’re committed to making this process as easy and pain-free as possible. Our oral surgery experts can address a variety of extractions including:

  • Simple and surgical extractions
  • Wisdom tooth extraction
  • Impacted bony extraction
  • Extractions in preparation for orthodontics
  • Emergency dental extractions
  • Broken teeth extractions
  • Full mouth extractions in preparation for dentures or denture supported implants

We offer a variety of sedation options to ensure your comfort, and if you need special clearance for a medical procedure from your physician, our specialist will be happy to coordinate with your primary care provider to ensure an integrated, whole health surgery plan.

Extractions don’t need to be scary, in fact you can often go back to work the same day with some basic post operative instructions. After an extraction it’s recommended that you:

*avoid smoking or alcohol

*eat soft non-spicy foods

*avoid drinking through a straw

*rinse with warm salt water to ease any discomfort

Sometimes pain medication may be prescribed. In the case of sedation, we recommend bringing a companion with you to help you get home safely.

Choose Dental Arts of Hastings-on-Hudson for our:

*extensive years of oral surgery experience

*excellence in patient satisfaction

*convenience and quality in the Westchester area

*advanced technology and optimal outcomes
